This precious compound can also be added to a few select vegetable oils, including olive oil, wild jasmine seed oil, and rice bran oil, making it a versatile and valuable ingredient in a variety of applications.

Cosmate® SQE Squalene is a colorless oily liquid with a unique mild odor. Due to its molecular structure and pure form, it is insoluble in water and slightly reactive in nature. However, it must be noted that it is highly sensitive to oxidation and requires careful handling and storage. Nonetheless, its beneficial properties and the important role it plays in numerous fields have ensured its popularity and continued use worldwide.

Cosmate®SQE Squalene was initially extracted from the liver of deep-sea sharks. In fact, squalene is not only present in shark liver, but also distributed in many plants, but its content is not high. Most of it is less than 5% of unsaponifiable substances in plant oil, and a few have a higher content. For example, the content of squalene in wild jasmine seed oil is higher, exceeding that in olive oil and rice bran oil. In addition, squalene is also widely distributed in our body's skin, subcutaneous fat, liver, nails, brain and other organs.
