Cosmate^®LUP ,Lupeol can inhibit the growth and induce apoptosis of leukemia cells. The inhibitory effect of lupeol on leukemia cells was related to the carbonylation of lupine ring. Cosmate^®LUP,Lupeol is a pentacyclic triterpene that has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity,that can be extracted from fruits and vegetables such as strawberry and mango as well as Chinese herbs and other plants. It has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and wound healing pharmacological effects, and shows anti-cancer activity in pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, melanoma and other tumors.
