Azelaic acid (also known as rhododendron acid)

Azelaic acid is mainly used for local treatment of mild to moderate acne and can be combined with oral antibiotics or hormone therapy. It is effective for both acne vulgaris and inflammatory acne vulgaris. Azeoic acid can also be used to treat skin pigmentation, including melasma and post inflammatory pigmentation, especially for people with darker skin tones. It is recommended as a substitute for hydroquinone. As a tyrosinase inhibitor, azelaic acid can reduce the synthesis of melanin.

Function and Function: 1) Reduce inflammation. Adipic acid can counteract or neutralize free radicals that cause inflammation. It has a significant calming effect on the skin and helps improve redness and swelling. 2) Uniform skin tone. It can reduce pigmentation and inhibit an enzyme called tyrosinase, which can cause excessive pigmentation or black spots on the skin. That's why azelaic acid is very effective for acne, post acne scars, and melasma. 3) Fight against acne. Azeoic acid can kill bacteria on the skin that cause acne. It can reduce the activity of Propionibacterium, a bacterium found in acne, because it has antibacterial (limiting bacterial production) and bactericidal (killing bacteria) properties, 4) Gentle exfoliating effect, helps to unclog pores and improve the surface of the skin 5) Significant skin calming factors can reduce sensitivity and lumps 6) Antioxidant effect, making the skin healthier
